I am married with two daughters and a sheltie. I am an avid birdwatcher and also enjoy gardening, music, and spending time with family and friends.

I was born and raised in the Rockford area. I graduated from Harlem High School and also attended Rock Valley College. I began working for the Law Office of Jim Black & Associates in September of 2008. I enjoy doing anything outdoors including biking, yard work and walking my dog Macha.

I have lived in Rockford since 1994 and graduated as a Viking from Guilford High School. I began working for the Law Office of Jim Black & Associates in January of 2007. I am fluent in both English & Spanish. I attended Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer networking. I enjoy reading, mixing music and watching Discovery & National Geographic channels.

I have over twenty years experience in legal services. I worked for 5 years as District Secretary for State Senator Harlan Rigney and 15 years as Assistant Chief Deputy of the Civil Division with the Winnebago County Circuit Clerks Office. I have worked for the Law Office of Jim Black & Associates since May of 2007. I am married and have two step children. I enjoy boating, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Sharon Haas - Administrative Assistant
I moved to Rockford in 2001. I hold a Business Information Systems degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I enjoy reading, traveling and spoiling my nieces and nephews.
Laura Hendershot - Receptionist
I am a lifelong resident of Rockford. I graduated from Jefferson High School. I am married with 2 cats instead of children (they're cheaper!!). I have been with the Law Office of Jim Black & Associates since May of 2006. My hobbies include music, reading and traveling.

I was born and raised in Rockford. I graduated with an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Rockford Business College in 2005. I began working for the Law Office of Jim Black & Associates in December 2008. I have two wonderful little boys. In my free time I enjoy learning to use my turntables, reading and spending time with my family and friends.

I am originally from the Peoria, Illinois area but moved to Rockford about 5 years ago. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BA in Anthropology. In 2003 I began working as Attorney Reynolds' secretary and am currently his client contact coordinator. I graduated from Jefferson High School and attended Central State University. I am married and have 3 wonderful boys. My hobbies include fishing, boating and spending time with my family and friends up north at the lake. Oh, and cheering for my Minnesota Vikings!

Rockford has been my home since 2001, moving from Mendota, Illinois where I lived most of my life. I have been at the Law Office of Jim Black since April 2008. My husband and I enjoy playing cards, golfing and traveling. We also enjoy spending lots of time 11 grandchildren.
